The themes of the scientific sections and special formats have been published as part of the provisional Congress programme.
The role of international sports organisations in preserving and strengthening Olympic ideals and principles and the moral values of world sport. Philosophical, historical, cultural, axiological, humanistic and ethical dimensions of the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic movements, and the worldwide Sport for All movement.
Prospects for strengthening and developing the international sports movement in the contemporary world. Overcoming the political and social consequences for sport of the distortion of the values underlying Olympism. New approaches and directions for renewing and developing the international competition system.
Educational, scientific and methodological aspects of developing emerging athletes and high-performance sport.
Biomedical support for athlete preparation. The role of sports medicine in athletic training.
