Doctor of Pedagogy, professor. Has published more than 180 scientific and methodological works in theory and methods of training of highly qualified athletes, issues of improving the service-combat and physical training of employees of the defence and law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.

Results are published in journals in the USA, Poland, Czechoslovakia, China, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia, more than 40 of which have the HAC publication status.

Author of more than 20 methodological manuals and monographs, has an inventor’s certificate and a patent.

First director and creator of the Research Institute of Sports at Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism – a platform for the development and implementation of new methods for the comprehensive assessment of efficiency of highly qualified athletes and employees of the law enforcement agencies of Russia.

Member of doctoral dissertation councils at Russian Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Moscow University of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism, and a visiting member of the dissertation council of the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University.
