Athlete training, health, psychology, education and digital technology — a study may span several fields. How can you decide which section to present it in?
The preliminary programme of the XIII International Scientific Congress “Sport, People and Health” includes 14 scientific sections.

Below is a brief guide to the scientific section topics. These examples can help you match your research to the programme, but do not replace the full descriptions.
Athlete training. Consider Section 3, which covers the development of young athletes and elite sport. It may suit studies on training methods, physical development and improving sporting performance.
Health and recovery. Compare your study with Sections 4 and 5. The former covers biomedical support for athlete training; the latter covers medical support, treatment and rehabilitation. Section 9 is intended for research on adaptive physical education and adaptive sport.
Psychology. Section 6 brings together psychological support for athlete training and the psychological aspects of health-enhancing physical activity. Examples include studies of motivation to exercise or emotional states before competition.
Education. Consider Section 8 if your study concerns specialist training, professional development or Olympic education. If it focuses on educational practice aimed at harmonious personal development, also review the description of Section 7.
Technology. Section 10 covers digital transformation and the development of computer, phygital and high-tech sports. It may be suitable when the research focuses on a digital solution, its capabilities or its effects on sporting practice.
For studies on mass physical activity and sport for all, also consider Section 11.
Before submitting your paper
Check your chosen field against the full section description and make sure that the title, abstract and keywords reflect the main subject of your research.
You must select a scientific section when submitting your paper through your personal account. Scientific papers are accepted until 1 February 2027. Formatting requirements and a sample paper are available on the scientific submissions page.
The Congress programme is preliminary and will be expanded.
