Dr. Shiyan’s research results are published in journals in the USA, Poland, Czechoslovakia, China, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia, more than 40 of which have the status of publication of the Higher Attestation Commission. He is the author of more than 20 methodological manuals and monographs, has an inventor’s certificate and a patent. 

The first director and creator of the Research Institute of Sports at Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism, as a platform for the development and implementation of new methods for the comprehensive assessment of efficiency of highly qualified athletes and employees of the law enforcement agencies of Russia.
